About me
I’m a jack of all trades, master of none.
By day, I'm a system engineer for Penn Manor School District. In essence, I keep all the systems and infrastructure happy and out-of-mind which host services for our students, teachers, and support staff. Chances are, if someone thinks something is 'a computer' under the hood, it's likely on my radar.
Beyond that, I’m a hardcore technologist and unapologetic DIY enthusiast. I'm a stalwart supporter of open-source and love experimenting with new tech and toys. Whether it's teaching myself new things, building my homelab, fixing up the house, working on cars, or playing with gadgets, my hands are seldom idle.
Technology and mechanics are just the tip of my iceberg. Other interests of mine include cars, engineering, architecture, anime, photography, and graphic design.
Why do I do all this? It boils down to my insatiable thirst for understanding the 'why' and 'how' of things. It fuels this blog and the plethora of topics you’ll find me rant about here. Of course, life's daily grind occasionally slows down my quest for knowledge, but I hope it never extinguishes it. As a self diagnosed 'eclectic skeptic', I entertain too many interests and meticulously research and question things often. 'Because' doesn't satisfy me, I obsess over the details.
I’m a staunch defender of my thoughts and opinions but not at the cost of demeaning others. A liberal and left-brained thinker, I look for new perspectives and ideas. I am picky and I like what I like. I believe in 'you be you' and 'owning it'. Don't accept things at face value, support ignorance, or limit your world views. Fuck the haters.

Behind this multifaceted persona, my wife Steph is my rock. Our home of furry and scaly pets is situated in Lancaster, PA.
